A sparkling vintage ring re vitalized!
The client has used us on several occasions before and had returned to us again with this particular project. She loved the vintage look and we were asked to re make the ring using the original stones and copy as sympathetically as close to the original.
There was less of a design stage with this ring, however the client had requested the ring to be made in platinum rather than the original 18ct yellow gold. To achieve the ‘vintage’ feel of this ring we focused on the overall fineness of the piece.
We recommended that we should use the design process of sketch, CAD and resin to achieve the correct look. Recreating this ring with its soft worn elegance is always a bit of balancing act and that was the challenge.
We were really pleased with the finish and attention to detail on this ring. The client trusted us to achieve a recreation of her ’vintage’ diamond ring that she can enjoy and wear once more.
